Southern Coach began production of the all new Z71 PLUS package.  This exciting enhancement to the Chevrolet Suburban Z71 and Tahoe Z71 is truly a first for any company.

• September 2003

Southern Coach's production crew once again competed in the March of Dimes annual Chili cook off.  The award winning team once again was recognized as best display in the cook off. This was the sixth year for our team to compete.

Shipment of Southern Coach's LT Van conversion with the all new 22" LCD Television started.  Dealer and consumer response has been over whelming.

Southern Coach reached twenty four (24) years in business on May 21, 2003.

• April 2003

NASCAR legend David Pearson and Southern Coach worked together to create the Silver Fox Edition package to be retailed exclusively through David Pearson's home town Chevrolet dealer, Farrell Chevrolet in Spartanburg, South Carolina.  This exciting new package combines David Pearson's NASCAR heritage with Southern Coach's state of the art Motorsport designs.  In a news conference covered by teams from local television stations and newspapers, David Pearson and Farrell Chevrolet's General Sales Manager, Jeff Plunkett, announced the availability of this package on Chevrolet trucks and sport utilities.

Southern Coach is pleased to announce an agreement with Alpine™ as the first Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in the United States to offer the Alpine™ Navigation system installed in Domestically manufactured trucks, vans and sport utility vehicles.  This system as never before been offered as a OEM installed option with a GM mirror 3 year / 36000 mile limited warranty.  This system is available both as a stand alone package and as an option to an existing Southern Coach package.

Southern Coach produced the first ever Avalanche SS, this exciting new product is already turning heads in the Carolina's and Virginia.  With a color keyed exterior, Flowmaster™ Dual Exhaust system, Monogrammed headrests and SS Ground Effects make this vehicle a one of a kind.

Southern Coach began shipping the all new Express van with left hand doors.  This exciting new product has undergone a complete overhaul.  The van chassis is all new and Southern Coach's conversion is completely new.  Realizing that the conversion van is the original SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle), Southern Coach's design team reached the goal of making this new product one of the finest SUV's on the market today.

• November 27, 2002

WFMY TV the CBS affiliate in Greensboro, NC aired a segment about holiday travel and featured a Southern Coach conversion van as a popular & growing method of travel for families.  John Link appeared live during this segment and was interviewed while demonstrating some of the van's features.  This story was part of WFMY's live morning show and a taped version aired during the evening news.

General Motors recognized Southern Coach as the sixth largest volume truck and SUV bailment in the world.

• October 17, 2002

Our first Tahoe SS package was completed on this date.  This exciting new package has tremendous eye appeal and a throaty high performance exhaust system.  This particular unit was shipped to Farrell Chevrolet in Spartanburg, SC.  The Tahoe SS was the featured unit in Farrell Chevrolet's weekend truck show.  This first Tahoe SS was purchased during the truck show.

Southern Coach's production crew entered the March of Dimes annual Chili cook off.  This award winning team once again was recognized as best display in the cook off. This was the fifth year for our team to compete.
